New Course Update
I talked with the Mayor of Westminster this afternoon. He is ready.He told me that his goal is to create one of the best courses in South Carolina. He wants to make the Chua Ram course one that will be one of the most challenging courses in this region of the country.
Plans are to use 1 acre per hole…or more…what ever is required to make it a great course. He talked about having the course play along the river and making sure some of the great views from different points in the park be back drops to some of the holes.
I’ve done some hiking at Chau Ram and I can imagine some great holes…with water and waterfalls coming into play or at least adding to the experience of playing there. I’m going to meet with the mayor and the county park and rec in the future to see what help they need in getting this course in the ground.
